Cost centres group costs for reporting. Load Defaults creates a starting set.
When to use cost centers
- You track costs by area.
Step by step
In the Administration module open Company in the green navigation bar, then choose Cost Centers under Company.

What you see on the screen
- Actions on the screen: Administration, Load Defaults, Add Cost Center.
Permissions
These permission keys control access (granted to roles in Administration → Roles & Permissions):
- org.cost-centers.create
- org.cost-centers.delete
- org.cost-centers.read
- org.cost-centers.update
