Organizational units model your structure. Load Defaults creates a sensible starting set.
When to use organization units
- You set up reporting lines.
Step by step
In the Administration module open Company in the green navigation bar, then choose Organization Units under Company.

What you see on the screen
- Actions on the screen: Administration, Load Defaults, Add Organizational Unit.
Permissions
These permission keys control access (granted to roles in Administration → Roles & Permissions):
- org.organizational-units.create
- org.organizational-units.delete
- org.organizational-units.read
- org.organizational-units.update
