Credentials
Stored logins for external services.
Overview
Credentials hold the keys workflows need to reach other services. They are encrypted when stored and only a masked preview is ever shown.
When to use credentials
- A workflow calls an outside service.
Step by step
In the Automation module open Settings in the green navigation bar, then choose Credentials under Configuration.

What you see on the screen
- Actions on the screen: Add Credential.
Permissions
These permission keys control access (granted to roles in Administration → Roles & Permissions):
- automation.credentials.create
- automation.credentials.delete
- automation.credentials.read
