New Workflow
Build a workflow from a trigger, conditions and actions.
Overview
A workflow starts with a trigger, can test conditions and branch, and performs actions such as sending an email, sending a notification, sending a WhatsApp message or updating a field.
When to use new workflow
- You automate a repeated task.
Step by step
In the Automation module open Workflows in the green navigation bar, then choose New Workflow under Automation.

What you see on the screen
- Actions on the screen: Trigger, Condition, Action, Branch, ✉️ Send Email, 🔔 Notification, 💬 WhatsApp, ✏️ Update Field, 📄 Create Record, 🔄 Change Status, Save.
Permissions
These permission keys control access (granted to roles in Administration → Roles & Permissions):
- workflow.definition.create
- workflow.definition.delete
- workflow.definition.read
- workflow.definition.update
