Registers
The tills and their shifts.
Overview
A register is a till linked to a branch. Opening a shift starts a session; closing it counts the cash and posts the session’s sales and cash summary to Accounting.
When to use registers
- You open or close the day.
Step by step
In the Pos module open Terminal in the green navigation bar, then choose Registers under Register.

Permissions
These permission keys control access (granted to roles in Administration → Roles & Permissions):
- pos.session.close
- pos.session.open
- pos.session.read
- pos.terminal.use
