Ask suppliers for prices.
Overview
A request for quotation goes to one or more suppliers. It can be created from an approved purchase request, and each supplier’s answer is captured as a supplier quotation.
When to use rfqs
- You need competing prices.
Step by step
In the Purchase module open Procurement in the green navigation bar, then choose RFQs under Procure to Pay.

Permissions
These permission keys control access (granted to roles in Administration → Roles & Permissions):
- purchase.rfqs.create
- purchase.rfqs.read
- purchase.rfqs.update
