All Products
The product catalogue used by every sales, purchase and stock document.
Overview
A product has a code, name, category, type, unit of measure, barcode, pricing and a valuation method. Valuation methods are FIFO, LIFO, Weighted Average, Standard Cost, FEFO, Specific and Latest Purchase. Switch on batch or serial tracking where traceability matters. The same product record is used in Inventory, Sales, Purchase, POS and Accounting.
When to use all products
- You add something you stock or sell.
- You turn on batch tracking for a product.
Step by step
In the Inventory module open Products in the green navigation bar, then choose All Products under Product Catalog.
