Batches & Lots
Track groups of units by batch number and expiry.
Overview
Batches record where a group of units came from and when it expires. With batch tracking on, receipts capture the batch, sales pick from it, and a recall can find every customer that received it.
When to use batches & lots
- You sell food, medicine or anything that expires.
- You need recall traceability.
Step by step
In the Inventory module open Products in the green navigation bar, then choose Batches & Lots under Product Catalog.
