Categories
Group products for reporting and defaults.
Overview
Categories organise products in a tree. They are used for filtering, reporting and for defaults such as accounts and valuation.
When to use categories
- You want stock and sales reports by group.
Step by step
In the Inventory module open Products in the green navigation bar, then choose Categories under Product Catalog.
