Stock Valuation
What your stock is worth.
Overview
Stock Valuation multiplies quantity by cost under each product’s valuation method (FIFO, LIFO, Weighted Average, Standard Cost, FEFO, Specific or Latest Purchase). The total is meant to agree with the Inventory Asset account in Accounting.
When to use stock valuation
- Month-end and year-end reporting.
Step by step
In the Inventory module open Reports in the green navigation bar, then choose Stock Valuation under Inventory Reports.

Permissions
These permission keys control access (granted to roles in Administration → Roles & Permissions):
- inventory.stock.adjust
- inventory.stock.read
- inventory.stock.value
