Stock Returns
Receive goods back from customers or send them back to suppliers.
Overview
A stock return reverses part or all of a delivery or receipt. Stock and the related accounting entry adjust when the return is confirmed.
When to use stock returns
- A customer returns goods.
- You reject a delivery.
Step by step
In the Inventory module open Operations in the green navigation bar, then choose Stock Returns under Transactions.

Accounting impact
- Customer returns increase stock; supplier returns decrease it, with the matching accounting entry.
Permissions
These permission keys control access (granted to roles in Administration → Roles & Permissions):
- inventory.stock.adjust
- inventory.stock.read
- inventory.stock.value
