Stock Transfers
Move stock between locations or warehouses.
Overview
A stock transfer moves goods from a source to a destination. Confirming moves the stock out of the source; the destination confirms what arrived, and differences stay visible.
When to use stock transfers
- You rebalance stock between branches.
- You move goods from receiving to storage.
Step by step
In the Inventory module open Operations in the green navigation bar, then choose Stock Transfers under Transactions.

Accounting impact
- Total stock is unchanged; quantity moves between locations, and the stock ledger shows both movements.
