Stock Deliveries
Issue goods out of a warehouse to a customer.
Overview
A stock delivery records goods leaving. Confirming it reduces stock at the source location; for a sales order, completing it tells Sales the order was delivered. Carriers can be recorded for transport.
When a sales order is confirmed, Sales can create the Delivery Note, Picking Slip and Packing Slip for you as drafts, if you enable them in Sales → Settings → Fulfilment.
When to use stock deliveries
- You ship a sales order.
- You issue goods for internal use.
Step by step
In the Inventory module open Operations in the green navigation bar, then choose Stock Deliveries under Transactions.

Accounting impact
- Stock decreases at the source location at its valuation cost.
- Posts to Accounting: debit Cost of Goods Sold, credit Inventory Asset, using the mapped accounts.

These permission keys control access (granted to roles in Administration → Roles & Permissions):
- inventory.stock.adjust
- inventory.stock.read
- inventory.stock.value
