Post to Social
Write one post, add a poster, pick your connected accounts and publish now or schedule it. Xetuu posts to every selected network and reports the result for each one.
Overview
Open CRM → Marketing → Post to Social. Choose a campaign (so leads and cost are tracked), write the message, optionally add a link and up to four pictures, then tick the accounts.
The link is tagged automatically (utm_source = the network, utm_medium = social, utm_campaign = the campaign number). You paste a plain link; Xetuu adds the tracking per network.
Preview runs a dry run: it checks every selected account against the network’s rules (length, picture required for Instagram, X’s 280 characters, account connected?) and shows the tracked link — nothing is posted.
Publish now queues the post; Schedule posts it at the chosen time even if you close the browser. Results appear under Result and in the Marketing Hub; a failure on one network never stops the others.
When to use post to social
- Announcing an offer or event on several networks at once.
- Planning a week of posts ahead.
Prerequisites
Step by step
Screenshot for this step has not been captured yet — run npm run docs:flow.
Field reference
| Field | Description | Required | Data type | Business meaning |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Campaign | Ties the post, its link and resulting leads to a campaign. | No | Choice | Strongly recommended. |
| Message | The text of the post. | Yes (or a poster) | Text | Length limits differ per network and are shown live. |
| Link | Where readers should go. | No | URL | Tracking tags are added for you. |
| Poster | Pictures to attach. | No | Image | Stored at a public address so the networks can fetch them. |
Good to know
- Facebook and Instagram download your picture themselves, so on a local test install (localhost) they cannot reach it — the preview warns you; posting works once Xetuu runs on a public address. LinkedIn, X and Telegram receive the file directly and are not affected.
- X may need a paid developer plan to post. LinkedIn posts as a company page need page-admin permission.
- Retrying a partly failed post only retries the networks that failed.
Permissions
These permission keys control access (granted to roles in Administration → Roles & Permissions):
- crm.social.read
- crm.social.publish
Automation
- A background job publishes due scheduled posts every minute.
