AI Follow-up
AI follow-up rules react to a new lead: they score it, draft a friendly first reply and suggest the next step. By default a person approves every message before it is sent.
Overview
Open CRM → Marketing → AI follow-up. A rule says “when a new lead arrives (from this campaign, or any source) do these things”. Tell the AI about your business in plain words — tone, offers, what never to promise.
Drafts appear in the AI inbox. Waiting-for-approval drafts can be edited, then Approve & send, or Rejected. Nothing is sent without your approval unless you deliberately switch approval off for that rule.
Sending goes through the normal channels (email, WhatsApp, SMS) and respects consent: someone who has withdrawn consent is never contacted, and the reason is shown.
Privacy: only the first name and the enquiry details (interest, budget, timeline, message with emails, phone numbers and links removed) are sent to the AI — never contact details.
Choose any AI under Administration → AI Connection: Claude, OpenAI, Gemini, Groq, OpenRouter, Mistral, DeepSeek, or an open-source model on your own server via Ollama, LM Studio or vLLM. “Try it” on a rule tests the AI with made-up details.
When to use ai follow-up
- You get leads faster than your team can answer.
- You want a consistent, polite first response.
- You want a quick quality score on social leads.

Limits
- A lead is processed once per rule.
- If AI is not connected the draft is marked Blocked and nothing is lost.
- AI can make mistakes — read drafts before approving.
