Procurement Budgets
Spending limits by period.
Overview
A procurement budget has a name, a period and an amount, and shows how much has been consumed. Purchases are checked against it.
When to use procurement budgets
- You allocate departmental budgets.
Step by step
In the Purchase module open Configuration in the green navigation bar, then choose Procurement Budgets under Setup.

What you see on the screen
- Columns: Name, Period, Budget, Consumed, Usage.
- Actions on the screen: New Budget.
Permissions
These permission keys control access (granted to roles in Administration → Roles & Permissions):
- purchase.budgets.create
- purchase.budgets.read
