Contracts
The salary terms an employee is paid on: structure, basic pay, benefits and deductions.
Overview
An employee can have only one active contract. To change pay, end the current contract and start a new one. Salaries cannot be negative and the employee, payroll company and structure must exist.
When to use contracts
- A new hire, a salary change, or a promotion.
Prerequisites
Step by step
Payroll → Contracts → New. The salary label shows the payroll company’s currency.
