A payroll company is an employer entity with its own statutory setup. Add one for each legal employer.
When to use payroll companies
- You employ through several entities.
Step by step
In the Hr module open Payroll Mgmt in the green navigation bar, then choose Payroll Companies under Configuration.

These permission keys control access (granted to roles in Administration → Roles & Permissions):
