Payslips
The pay of one employee for one period: earnings, deductions, tax, loan repayments and net pay.
Overview
Payslips are created by a payroll run or one at a time. A payslip cannot overlap another payslip of the same employee. States cannot be edited freely: use Compute, Confirm or Reset; only a confirmed payslip can be marked Paid, and a paid payslip cannot be reset.
When to use payslips
- Reviewing an employee’s pay, correcting a draft, or reversing a confirmed payslip.
Prerequisites
Step by step
Reset to Draft reverses the ledger entry with an opposite entry, restores loan balances and clears the figures so it can be recomputed.
