Overview
Departments form a tree and are used on employee records, requisitions, budgets and reports.
When to use department
- You organise teams.
Step by step
In the Hr module open Employees in the green navigation bar, then choose Department under Setup.

Permissions
These permission keys control access (granted to roles in Administration → Roles & Permissions):
- org.departments.create
- org.departments.delete
- org.departments.read
- org.departments.update
