Batch Payments
Group many customer payments into one batch and one journal.
Overview
A batch payment collects several customer payments into a single batch, for example a day’s mobile-money receipts or one bank deposit. The batch has a name, a journal, a date and a total, and posts the payments together.
Each line still needs its own mode of payment.
When to use batch payments
- You bank many receipts in one deposit.
- You import a batch of remittances from a payment provider.
