Customers
The master list of the people and companies you sell to.
Overview
A customer record holds the legal name, tax ID, currency, credit limit, contacts, payment terms and statement history. Invoices, receipts, orders and statements all hang off it.
The customer form follows the same layout as other master records: a profile block, a statistics strip, tabs for details and a chatter panel.
When to use customers
- You add a new buyer before invoicing.
- You set or change a credit limit.
- You print or email a customer statement.
