Products
The catalogue of goods and services you sell and buy.
Overview
A product has a code, name, category, type, unit of measure and barcode. Products feed invoice, bill, order and stock lines, so the same record is used everywhere.
Stock-tracked products are managed in Inventory; services have no stock.
When to use products
- You add something new to sell.
- You need a barcode or category for reporting.
Step by step
In the Accounting module open Customers in the green navigation bar, then choose Products under Master Data.

What you see on the screen
- Columns: CODE, PRODUCT NAME, CATEGORY, TYPE, UOM, BARCODE, ACTIONS.
- Actions on the screen: New Product.
