Lockout / Tagout
Isolate energy sources in a fixed order and prove zero energy before work.
Overview
A LOTO record generates an ordered procedure per energy source. Steps are signed strictly in order with a lock and tag number. Zero-energy verification gates the work, and a restoration group runs afterwards.
When to use lockout / tagout
- Maintenance needs the machine isolated.
