Work Orders
Plan, execute and close maintenance work with tasks, parts, labour, failure coding and sign-off.
Overview
A work order has one of 14 work types and a priority from P1 to P4. It moves through a state machine; above an approval threshold it needs approval. During the job you add tasks, planned and used parts, labour (with timers), services, tools, measurements, downtime and failure cause and remedy. A completed corrective order requires a failure code. Work that needs a permit or lockout cannot start until the permit or lockout is in place.
When to use work orders
- Any corrective, preventive, inspection or project work on an asset.
