This guide walks through each screen in the Finance menu of the Fixed Assets module: Fixed Asset Reports, Budgets, Insurance Policies, Disposals & Auctions.
Fixed Asset Reports
Where to find itFixed Assets → Finance → Books & Reports → Fixed Asset Reports
How to use Fixed Asset Reports
- 1Open Fixed Asset Reports
In the Fixed Assets module, open Finance in the green navigation bar, then choose Fixed Asset Reports under Books & Reports.
- 2Review the list
The list shows these columns: Asset, Name, Method, Cost, Accumulated, NBV, YTD, Ledger. Use the search box and filters at the top to narrow it, and click any row to open the record.
- 3Use the available actions
Buttons available on this screen: Register valuation, Book comparison, Depreciation forecast, CSV.
Budgets
Where to find itFixed Assets → Finance → Books & Reports → Budgets
How to use Budgets
- 1Open Budgets
In the Fixed Assets module, open Finance in the green navigation bar, then choose Budgets under Books & Reports.
- 2Review the list
The list shows these columns: Budget, Type, FY, Amount, Committed, Actual, Remaining, Used. Use the search box and filters at the top to narrow it, and click any row to open the record.
- 3Use the available actions
Buttons available on this screen: New budget.
Insurance Policies

How to use Insurance Policies
- 1Open Insurance Policies
In the Fixed Assets module, open Finance in the green navigation bar, then choose Insurance Policies under Protect & Dispose.
- 2Review the list
The list shows these columns: Policy, Insurer, Cover, Assets, Sum insured, Premium, Expires. Use the search box and filters at the top to narrow it, and click any row to open the record.
- 3Use the available actions
Buttons available on this screen: New policy.
Disposals & Auctions

How to use Disposals & Auctions
- 1Open Disposals & Auctions
In the Fixed Assets module, open Finance in the green navigation bar, then choose Disposals & Auctions under Protect & Dispose.
- 2Review the list
The list shows these columns: NUMBER, ASSET, METHOD, NBV, PROCEEDS, GAIN/LOSS, STATUS. Use the search box and filters at the top to narrow it, and click any row to open the record.
