Fixed Asset Reports
Depreciation books, valuation, book comparison and forecast, with optional posting to the ledger.
Overview
Each asset can have one book per type: corporate, tax, IFRS, local GAAP or management. Methods are straight line, declining balance, double declining (switching to straight line), sum of years’ digits, units of production and custom percentages, calculated monthly. A book can be previewed and re-planned until it is capitalised. Capitalising sends the schedule to Accounting’s fixed-asset register, which posts each period. Components are assets with their own books and roll up to the parent’s net book value.
