Maintenance BOM
The parts each asset or class needs, and a spare profile that scores how critical each part is.
Overview
A maintenance bill of materials can be defined for an asset or a whole class, with a where-used view. A spare profile adds category, lead time and the consequence of a stock-out, from which a Critical Spare Score (0 to 100) is calculated. Parts on work orders are reserved and issued from Inventory.
When to use maintenance bom
- You want the right parts on a work order and the critical ones stocked.
