Warehouse Hierarchy
The tree of warehouses, locations and shelves.
Overview
The hierarchy view shows how warehouses, locations and shelves nest and lets you add to it. A first-run wizard offers to build the structure for you.
When to use warehouse hierarchy
- You review or restructure your storage layout.
Step by step
In the Inventory module open Config in the green navigation bar, then choose Warehouse Hierarchy under Settings & Locations.

What you see on the screen
- Actions on the screen: New Warehouse, Skip — I’ll set it up manually, Start.
Permissions
These permission keys control access (granted to roles in Administration → Roles & Permissions):
- inventory.warehouse.create
- inventory.warehouse.read
- inventory.warehouse.update
