Warehouse Setup Wizard
A guided first-time setup of where your stock lives.
Overview
The wizard creates the warehouse, locations and shelves in one pass, so you can start receiving stock straight away. You can skip it and set everything up by hand.
When to use warehouse setup wizard
- You are starting Inventory for the first time.
Step by step
In the Inventory module open Config in the green navigation bar, then choose Warehouse Setup Wizard under Settings & Locations.

What you see on the screen
- Actions on the screen: Skip — I’ll set it up manually, Start.
Permissions
These permission keys control access (granted to roles in Administration → Roles & Permissions):
- inventory.warehouse.create
- inventory.warehouse.read
- inventory.warehouse.update
