Units of Measure
The units products are counted and sold in.
Overview
Units of measure have a name, abbreviation and type, such as each, kilogram or litre. Products and document lines use them, with conversions between related units.
When to use units of measure
- You sell by weight, volume or pack.
Step by step
In the Inventory module open Config in the green navigation bar, then choose Units of Measure under Masters.

What you see on the screen
- Columns: NAME, ABBREVIATION, TYPE.
- Actions on the screen: Add Unit, Skip — I’ll set it up manually, Start.
