Commissioning
Prove a new asset works before it goes live: checklist, tests, readings and signatures.
Overview
Commissioning uses a template per class (the default is a 12-point checklist). You tick the checklist, record numeric tests that are judged automatically, enter initial meter readings, activate the warranty and collect signatures. Approval issues a certificate, sets the in-service and commissioned dates and moves the asset from Commissioning to Operational. By default an asset cannot become Operational without an approved commissioning record.
When to use commissioning
