Transfers
Move an asset to another site, owner, department, cost centre, branch or company with approval and history.
Overview
Nine transfer types exist: site, location, branch, department, employee, cost centre, custodian, owner and company. Each type can require approval. Dispatch marks the asset in transit; Complete applies the new values through the audited, effective-dated update path and logs a movement. An inter-company transfer creates a linked asset in the receiving company and archives the source.
