Analytic Accounts
The values inside each analytic plan.
Overview
Analytic accounts are the individual values of a plan, such as Nairobi and Mombasa for a Branch plan. They can be hierarchical.
When to use analytic accounts
- You add a branch, project or department.
Step by step
In the Accounting module open Configuration in the green navigation bar, then choose Analytic Accounts under Management.

Permissions
These permission keys control access (granted to roles in Administration → Roles & Permissions):
- accounting.account.create
- accounting.account.delete
- accounting.account.read
- accounting.account.update
- accounting.accounts.create
- accounting.accounts.delete
- accounting.accounts.read
- accounting.accounts.update
- accounting.analytic.create
- accounting.analytic.delete
