Analytic Plans
The dimensions you slice results by.
Overview
An analytic plan is a dimension type such as Cost Centre, Branch, Project or Department. Plans contain analytic accounts, and document lines are distributed across them by percentage.
When to use analytic plans
- You want results by something other than the chart of accounts.
Step by step
In the Accounting module open Configuration in the green navigation bar, then choose Analytic Plans under Management.

Permissions
These permission keys control access (granted to roles in Administration → Roles & Permissions):
- accounting.analytic.create
- accounting.analytic.delete
- accounting.analytic.read
- accounting.analytic.update
