Distribution Rules
Default analytic splits applied automatically.
Overview
A distribution rule fills the analytic distribution on a line for you, based on the account, product or partner, so users do not choose it each time.
When to use distribution rules
- A cost is always split the same way.
Step by step
In the Accounting module open Configuration in the green navigation bar, then choose Distribution Rules under Management.

Permissions
These permission keys control access (granted to roles in Administration → Roles & Permissions):
- accounting.analytic.create
- accounting.analytic.delete
- accounting.analytic.read
- accounting.analytic.update
