Fiscal Years
The fiscal year and its periods.
Overview
Fiscal years define when your accounting year starts and its periods. The start month is configurable per company and is not forced to January. Periods can be locked once closed.
When to use fiscal years
- You set up a new company or a new year.
Step by step
In the Accounting module open Configuration in the green navigation bar, then choose Fiscal Years under Management.
