Rules for the asset lifecycle.
Overview
Lifecycle settings decide how capital proposals, acquisition, commissioning and transfers behave, such as approval thresholds.
When to use lifecycle settings
- You tailor the lifecycle to your policy.
Step by step
In the Assets module open Configuration in the green navigation bar, then choose Lifecycle Settings under Master Data.

What you see on the screen
- Actions on the screen: Save settings.
Permissions
These permission keys control access (granted to roles in Administration → Roles & Permissions):
- assets.settings.read
- assets.settings.update
