Overview
An approval rule applies to a type of request and an annual amount and defines the approval chain and its status.
When to use approval rules
- You set hiring authority.
Step by step
In the Hr module open Recruitment in the green navigation bar, then choose Approval Rules under Setup.

What you see on the screen
- Columns: RULE, APPLIES TO, ANNUAL AMOUNT, APPROVAL CHAIN, STATUS.
